Clubs in Action PAC – A pollitical action committee dedicated to enhancing Democratic turnout in Harris County Texas

Clubs in Action is a collaborative effort of Democratic clubs and organizations across Harris County to help standardize messaging and show voters a united Democratic initiative, pool experience and duties, and benefit from economies of scale. The mission of this PAC is to work as a supplement to the Harris County Democratic Party (HCDP) and individual candidates’ campaigns to maximize Democratic turnout.

Member Clubs

Twenty-one Harris County Democratic clubs form the network for Clubs in Action and have pledged to support the PAC’s “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) campaign. As part of the campaign, the clubs receive the following:

A field plan coordinated across all of Harris County.
Access to data for targeted precincts and help with making lists of the residences of likely Democrats for block-walking purposes (known as “cutting turf”).
GOTV literature that includes all Democratic candidates in the club’s area.
General support from a larger and experienced team, including help launching block walks and training volunteers.
Operational oversight from experienced volunteers for day-to-day tasks.
A coordinated social media campaign.
Paid canvassers to help reach areas the clubs cannot given their volunteer resources and to block walk in areas outside of club footprints.
